Professional History

Chuck Jones joined the firm in 1984 and became a principal in 1994.  Prior to coming to work with Curts Gaines Hall Jones, he gained valuable experience in Historic Preservation Architecture while with Mackey and Associates in St. Louis, Missouri.

Mr. Jones is a visionary who draws upon a wide range of project experience working in collaboration with astute clients.  Whether it is the early planning, programming or concept phase, design development, detailing and coordination, or final CA phases, he sees the process through to its final fruition.  His portfolio includes renovations and new construction, from single-family residences to complex mixed-use hi-rises.  The variety of building types and uses include multifamily apartments, luxury and resort condominiums, timeshare, assisted/independent/memory care facilities, hospitality, hotels, mercantile, retail, restaurant, commercial office, clubhouses, spas, and educational facilities many of which have been recognized for design excellence by local, state and national awards.

Chuck has served as the lead Architect for many large-scale multifamily residential mixed-use projects and assisted/independent care facilities involving significant construction budgets, programmatic requirements and environmental constraints.
